Reset and Renew from the 3 T’s

Back to work, back to normal life rhythms, yet still feeling run down after the holidays? The extra activity, travel, and stress of December can leave us feeling like our “get up and go – got up and went.”

It’s time for a more intensive health reset.

We live our lives through our nervous systems, so it makes perfect sense for health to start there, at the source. The three factors that contribute most to nerve system dysregulation and misalignments of the spine are what we call the 3 T’s: Thoughts, Toxins and Traumas. While these come in different forms for each person, taking an inventory of our lives and spinal health in these three categories is a great way to reset as we start 2026!

Thoughts (emotional stresses): Periods of intense or prolonged stressful activities or interactions lead to the body being constantly in a state of “emergency” and lowers the immune response and healing ability, inflaming the nerve system.

Toxins (environmental stresses): Our bodies are very good at cleaning up waste absorbed from our environment or from processing our food, but they weren’t designed to be fed loads of artificial colorings, empty sugar calories or unnecessary medications, just to name a few. In excess, these can wreck our natural balance and lead to neurological dysfunction.

Traumas (physical stresses): Small or large, physical stresses to our spines negatively impact our overall nerve system health. Sitting for hours, constant forward head posture with technology use, improper lifting form at the gym, a “minor” fender-bender – these all cause the micro-damage that builds up as the body deals with the strain.

For some, it’s time to start a more foundational health reset (send them our way!). For others, we simply need to continue prioritizing our health by strengthening the body to combat the 3 T’s – embracing the protective benefits of regular chiropractic care! Get your spine checked and adjusted to recharge and reset.
